Bridging gaps in rural and urban infrastructure, services, and opportunities
Development must reach every corner – whether remote villages or urban slums. At SACHCHIDANAND DWARIKA SEVA SANSTHAN FOUNDATION, we work to improve basic infrastructure, access to services, and quality of life in underserved areas. Our programmes focus on participatory planning, local resource mobilisation, and sustainable solutions.
Our Vision: Vibrant, resilient communities where every citizen has access to quality housing, sanitation, energy, and civic amenities.
Facilitating better roads, drainage, street lighting, and community buildings through advocacy and project support.
Ensuring safe drinking water, household toilets, and solid waste management in villages and urban slums.
Promoting solar lighting, clean cooking solutions, and energy‑efficient technologies.
Building and renovating anganwadi centres, community halls, and public spaces.
Improving living conditions in urban slums through water supply, sanitation, and livelihood linkages.
Mobilising communities to participate in Gram Sabhas, ward committees, and local development planning.
We adopt a rights‑based, participatory approach that empowers communities to drive their own development:
Our interventions have led to improved infrastructure in 30+ villages and slums, benefiting over 20,000 households.
We work closely with local governments, urban local bodies, and technical agencies:
Our work aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and complements government flagship programmes like the Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission, and PM Awas Yojana.
